When classes just aren't enough.
Extracurricular activities at Sturgis West are a great way for students to explore topics in which they are especially interested. Model United Nations (MUN) introduces students to international relations, diplomacy, and political theory. Students learn to debate current topics and prepare to represent a country at the regional MUN Conference. The Inklings is an advanced reading group for students who want to discuss in depth great works in literature, political theory, philosophy, and psychology, free from pesky classroom distractions. The musically-talented will be interested in participating in Sturgis West's jazz band, which meets on Thursday mornings.
